Why Take NeuroAware™?

Neurodivergent people are present at every event, in every audience and within every workforce. Yet many event professionals have never received training on how to recognise, understand or support different neurotypes.

With only 15% of neurodivergent event attendees saying they would feel confident approaching an event organiser for support, there is a clear need to improve understanding, confidence and inclusive practice across the industry.

NeuroAware™ has been developed by EventWell®, combining lived experience, evidence-informed practice and 30 years of hands on event industry expertise. This practical, on-demand course provides the knowledge and confidence to improve communication, reduce avoidable distress and support people in a way that is respectful, compassionate and effective.

Whether you work in event management, production, operations, security, stewarding, welfare, customer service, venue management or as a volunteer, NeuroAware™ will help you better understand neurodivergence, recognise when someone may need support, and make simple adjustments that can have a significant impact on the experience of attendees, colleagues and crew.

By completing NeuroAware™, you'll be helping to create events where more people feel safe, welcome, understood and able to participate - because inclusion isn't about treating everyone the same; it's about recognising that different people have different needs.
